Prof. Rohit Parikh, distinguished professor of CS, Math, Philosophy at City University of New York. Educated at Elphinstone College Mumbai and at Harvard University. Three times winner in the Putnam mathematical competition. Taught previously at Stanford, Panjab University, Bristol University, Boston University. Visiting appointments at Caltech, TIFR (Mumbai), SUNY (Buffalo), Berkeley, ETH (Zurich), NYU. Worked at Bell Labs and IBM. Have directed 22 doctoral dissertations as shown in mathematical genealogy. Edited several books plus one book which was dedicated to Rohit Parikh. Former editor of IJFTCS and Journal of Philosophical Logic
